We are sure sick of it!....of being sick, that is. There has been at least one of our children sick for the past three weeks! What kind of immune system deficiency are we running around this place? The current spell as of yesterday includes throwing up (thank goodness for the barf bowl in the car), fever, pink gooey eye (not pink eye), and sore throat....and that's just one kid. Children are so resilient, though, so it's hard for them to understand that they need to take it easy when they "feel all better, Mommy." Hopefully, by next month, they'll have had caught everything going around, so we can then be rest assured that we're in the clear....yep, that's how it will work...I'm positive.
On the flip side, we sure have been blessed this entire year with good health. It just seems like the year's worth of no sickies has caught up with us in October.
