Budafest....and Crazy Parents Sighting

This past weekend, the girls were in the Budafest parade and performed a dance routine to "Here Comes Santa Claus." Besides being an unusually hot December day and the overabundance of people, it was a festive little festival.
If you were in attendance and happened to see some crazy parents with cameras in hand running along side the trailers in the parade....that would be us. We (I) were a little neurotic in terms of capturing this momentous event, their first parade. Blake had the camcorder and I had the camera...we were a team. We'd get what pictures we could, then run, run, run, to get ahead of their "float" and then take more pics. If you're trying to picture this in your head, don't forget to include Blake pushing the baby in the stroller with one hand while video taping with other and half walking/half running. If you still don't have the mental image, also envision me shouting my girls' names to get them to look and capture the "perfect photo." This was the scene all the way down Mainstreet.
Our work (and it was work....I was in a total sweat afterwards), was paid off by some cute pictures and a flawless video of the little performers.

Now I'm kinda sad we didn't go. Watching what you just described probably would have been worth it! :) (How could you not get cute photos of those girls? Hello? They're adorable!)
