This is the third year now that we've gone out to
Wimberley for their Trail of Lights. It such a great (
read: free) and feasible (
read: fairly quick) and darling (
read: small town) kind of thing. At the end, they have a stage with different entertainment each night, a fire pit for toasting
marshmallows, free hot chocolate, and hot dogs. I definitely recommend it over any of the others around the area....especially for small children.
Last year, we had to circumvent the Santa house because the girls were freaked out at the thought of him actually BEING there! As you can see, this year, it's a different story....sort of.

The girls found a princess coach...the highlight of the night.

The little one hung on Daddy's back for most of the time.

This tree was made solely of plastic bottles.

Some of the other exhibits were pretty peaceful....

and smelt like gingerbread....

or made the ground shake...

or just were pretty. Of course, we had to do the spinning thing under the tree. Dizzy!
