O'er the Land of the Free....
This year was pretty low key for us in terms of 4th of Julys. Usually, we go to a family member's house on Lake Travis and watch the Carlos-n-Charlie's fireworks from the boat. Sunday, we went to church then over to my parent's house for a BBQ with my aunt, uncle, grandparents, and cousin. Later, my mom and I took the big girls to the Kyle fireworks and they got to watch from the back of Daddy's truck. They were okay...nothing like what we're used to seeing on the lake...but it was definitely a trade off that we were able to just go park and watch them perfectly from the truck without having to hassle with crowds, driving, etc. It was a fun, relaxing time staying around home and I think the girls were able to enjoy (and not be terrified of) the fireworks this year. It's great to be an American!!!

My in-laws said they looked so cute at church all dressed up and matching! We were too lazy to even go and see fireworks this year. Good thing we can make up for it on the 23rd! :)
I love the picture of Blake and his baby girl! So dang cute!
