Estes Park

This past week, we (Blake, Me, and baby) went with my parents (their treat) to Estes Park, CO. We enjoyed being the parents of one for the short time it lasted. She traveled well, but despised the car at all times. We had fun hiking, horseback riding, sight-seeing, and revelling in the cool weather (highs of 75 degrees). Many pics were taken, but these capture the highlights of our trip.

A pretty church we got to go inside

Thirsty

Balancing on a log over the river

Copeland Falls

This was her primary mode of transportation the entire week...a lifesaver, as she loved it and didn't complain at all

Not too sure about the grass...wouldn't put her hands down from this position

Cutest EVER

Nice waterfall to the left, however an amateur photographer (my mother) took this pic and failed to capture it.

On our hike to Dream lake

Bear Lake

WILDLIFE:
Mr. Fox behind our condo by the trash

This stupid thing is called a Marmot....when people feed them in their natural habitat, they get a little aggressive for food....even when it's breastmilk. I was nursing on the side of a rock and this little guy would not back off. I finally had to up and move pretty quickly, and he still hung around after Blake tried shooing him off several times. He was the size of a large beaver.

Geese on the golf course
A black bear right behind our condo...Blake and I had hiked right up this very hill the day before

Our condo

On our balcony...it was cold

Daddy and his namesake in front of our condo on the Falls River

The Stanley Hotel....where "The Shining" was based

Me and Black Magic
