You're probably thinking...."OMG, blue and silver eyeshadow is SO 1987!"
Well, shocked as you may be that this isn't a professionally-done retro makeup application, our eldest had a bad run in with some patio furniture when we were on our trip (see below). This picture was taken a good week after the occurrence, and the bruising has continued to work it's way down her eye. I'm thankful it wasn't worse (which the actual point of contact was very near her temple), however, I'm getting sick of all the comments strangers are making to her when we're in public...Thank you Mr. Obvious, I am well aware that my child has a black eye!

Yikes! My MIL said she looked like she had a black eye, but I didn't know. Hope you're not planning on taking family pictures until it clears up! :)
